The RDO RESP 2.0 neck warmer, like its predecessor HTG RESP, combines two functions in one product. It can do what is expected of a quality neckerchief, i.e. it protects against the cold, wicks away sweat, it can be used as a hat, scarf, balaclava or mask. However, the RESP 2.0 neck brace is equipped on the front inside with a pocket for inserting a filter insert the size of a surgical mask, so it increases respiratory protection many times over, but any mask of standard dimensions can be used as a filter. For RDO RESP 2.0, we offer filters from NANOINDUSTRY with certified capture at FFP2 level, i.e. min. 96%
The neckband is made of the best MERINO 165® fiber, equipped with an additional function of respiratory protection. The internal pocket on the front allows for the insertion of a respiratory insert of FFP 1 to FFP 3 levels. The tightening system keeps the neckband in the correct position on the face.
Material:
Merino MERINO 165® has a diameter of only 16 µm and is the finest wool fiber that absorbs moisture coming from the inside of the neckband and provides perfect insulation against the cold. The wool is treated with Superwash technology against felting. The special anti-bacterial properties of Merino fibers do not burden your organism with foreign substances such as silver ions or chemical treatment of the fibers.
At the same time, it protects against the effects of flame when the resistance of the natural merino material is up to 570 C°. Due to the fact that natural merino does not melt like synthetic materials, there is no secondary damage to the skin in the event of a flame.
